Chabad at UW and Leadership Tomorrow Seattle has joined forces to create an annual Leadership Seminar for Jewish students at UW.
Leadership Tomorrow is an organization that trains corporate executives and community leaders. They’ve been doing this for over 25 years, and have trained thousands of people – the likes of UW and Seattle U Regents, Bill Gates Foundation, Boeing, Starbucks, Ford execs, and more. (You can see what they do on their website – www.leadershiptomorrowseattle.org). But now, for the very first time, they’re joining with us here at Chabad UW to train university students, with real-life leadership skills, from experts in their fields. We’ll be tackling such issues as:
- Crisis, conflict and stress management
- Delegation of authority
- Budgeting
- Responsibility
- Communication skills
- Goal setting… and much more.
This three day seminar will be run on three consecutive Sundays – Jan. 24, Jan. 30 and Feb. 7. The seminar will be held in the offices of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce, downtown, from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM – catered lunch and snacks included.
Students from all different Jewish organizations at UW are participating: AEPi, ZBT, Banot, The Jewish Sorority, Israel Forever, American Students for Israel, Huskies for Israel, Sinai Scholars, Chabad and Hillel.
